I want to obtain a full time, creative position (preferably animator, 3D modeler or texture artist) in a cutting edge production house creating animations for broadcast, film, commercials, and/or video.

Broadcast Designer/Interim Art Director (November 2005 - Present)

  • Established new procedures, organized files and backup system. Proposed new Xsan network, render farm, and artist platform redevelopment including complete hardware/software upgrades.
  • Responsible for redesign and implementation of channel branding including news crawl, clock, bug, live tabs, lower 3rds, station IDs, station promos, line-ups, news automation system and establishing a style guide as reference.
  • Redesign of company website at PentagonChannel.mil.
  • Complete show package design from storyboard to broadcast including show open, credits, bumps, animated maps, lower 3rds, full screen and monitor templates, web banners, DVD labels and associated promos.

Sr. 3D Animator (March 2002 - November 2005)

  • Model, animate, light, and render 3D elements and logos for composite into a unified graphics package sent to 63 stations nationwide.
  • Configure hardware and software to maintain the corporate graphics department and local departments at station level.
  • Oversee other artists in the creation of 3D elements for use in promotions.

Graphic Artist/DEKO Operator (September 2001 - November 2001)

  • Single handedly create over the shoulders, full screens, backgrounds and animations for the three hour morning news show on FOX 45.
  • Operated the Effects DEKO to display graphics during the live show.

  • Responsible for the creation of over the shoulders, maps, full screens, backgrounds and animations for the 6:30 and 10 o'clock news on WB 54 and FOX 45.
